"Benh Thanh Market has many..." Vietnam Restaurant Tip by BorderHopper

Benh Thanh Market has many food stalls with cheap eats and good food.
The market is huge and not only does it offer shopping it has dozens of food stalls. It is noisy, and crowded but it's an exellent place to go to people watch, have lunch, and drink a cold beer.

Favorite Dish: I'm a meat eater if that isn't a bit obvious yet and my favorite meal is the thinly sliced pieces of pork (almost like a pork chop) that has been marinated in a sweet sauce and cooked over a hot flame. They usually include a plate of small grain white rice with the pork over it. It is really good and is quite inexpensive.
If pork isn't your thing then try Pho. You can't go wrong with this noodle and chicken soup which is very common throughout Vietnam.
