The German Bistro is a great little place with authentic food, a friendly family running the operation, and free beer!!! That's right, the German Bistro does not have their liquor license yet so they can't sell beer, but they can give it away. As much beer as you want, no problem!

We arrived on a Wednesday night and were warmly greeted by the friendly waitress/mother who is the main server. She seated us at one of the few open tables on this busy night. The host/son served us our beers, and brought us bread, and appetizers. Later the mother was back to read us the specials, take our orders, and bring our meals. Throughout dinner we were constantly offered beers, which we readily accepted.

We had rouladen, jagerschnitzel, spatzle, red cabbage, coleslaw, potato salad, french fries, a dumpling, bread, five German St. Pauli Girl beers, and an apple strudel for about $40! The food was all fresh, homemade and great. The staff was funny and truly German. They seemed to be having a great time throughout the evening, evening dancing with some of the customers at one point.

Favorite Dish: Due to the lengthy process of obtaining a county liquor license, we unfortunately cannot sell alcoholic beverages at this time.
However, you may bring your own if you desire.
