"At Cu Chi you can take aim at..." Vietnam Things to Do Tip by BorderHopper

At Cu Chi you can take aim at wooden replicas of water buffalo with US made M-16 service rifles or the AK-47. It's easy to imagine what the war may have sounded like as you here the popping and crackle of automatic gunfire. Somehow I don't think the experience quite compares to actual warfare but it's an interesting experience.
Shooting these guns is actually quite expensive at $1 USD a bullet. If you have an automatic and plan on opening up on a target then you'll have to pitch out a pretty penny.
Maybe the shooting range in Phnom Penh is a bit better...afterall they let you shoot bazookas and throw grenades!
