The Fountain of the Three Seas is located at the centre of the square and was designed by Josep Maria Jujol, a collaborator of Antoni GaudÝ, while Miquel Blay designed the statues. The monument is a tribute to water, and each sculptural group represents the seas and oceans that surround the coasts of Spain
