Touring the Caodai Holy See. Pictured at the very top of the page is the Caodai temple.
British author Graham Greene wrote in his 1955 book 'The Quiet American' about the Caodaists and their temple.....' Now the churches of the Caodaists would capture the attention of strangers in every village: pale blue and pink plasterwork and a big Eye of God over the door. Flags increased; troops of peasants made their way along the road; we were approaching the Holy See. In the distance the sacred mountain stood like a green bowler hat above Tay Ninh..'

Directions: Tay Ninh is east of Saigon off of highway 22 near the Cambodian border.
