Las Vegas' Regional Transit Authority offers an express bus route called the SDX from Downtown (Fremont-Casino Center) to the Outlet Mall on the south end of the Strip.
It costs $5 for two hours, or $7 a day or $20 for a three-day pass. This pass also includes all the other bus lines run by the Transit Authority, BUT NOT THE MONORAIL!
The bus only makes 7-8 Stops along the route. You may have to double back or take a local bus if you don't want to walk to your chosen destination.
There is also "THE DEUCE" it runs the same route as the SDX but stops more frequently, it will accept the above passes or pay $3 per trip. You can pay the driver of the Deuce but not the SDX, you have to buy a pass before you board and have it ready, a transit cop will get on en route and check, if you don't have a pass, you will receive a citation.
This route DOES NOT go to McCarron Airport. Routes 108, 109 and WAX go to the airport fm Downtown and close to the Strip.
