The beaches here in Chumphon are good, the caves and waterfalls in this region are nothing to shout about. Still the regions offers plenty of destinations for visitors to get acquainted with. That's my interest and I hope to share them with you

Coming from the north, some 23 kilometers before entering Chumphon along the Highway 4, a right turn leads to the Tha Sae district. Then, from there another 15 kilometers west, there is the Rab Ro cave. It houses an old Buddha image and beautiful stalactites.
In Pathiu, there would be the Tham Nam lod-Khao Phlu. This is a wet cave with underground water giving the sight as well as special ambience.

About 30 kilometers from the town of Tambon Salui, this is the Nam Tok Kra Pho National Park. This is the place for bathing and splashing surrounded by many plant life.
In Pathiu, about 9 kilometers from the district office, there is the Thung Yo waterfall, small one but offer scenic sight.

In Pathiu district, there beautiful bays and palm fringed beaches. Among them Ao Phanang Tak, Ao Thung Wua Laen and some 13 kilometers away the most beautiful Tha Sae beach.
Another 10 kilometers from Pathiu is Laem Thaen, more bays and beaches.
About 4 kilometers from Pak Nam Pier is Hat Pharadonphap. This a beach of 3 kilometer running paralleled with the road.
Another 4 kilometers away is the Hat sai Ri beaches. Here visitors can find the shrine for Prince Chumphon, father of the Royal Thai Navy at the foothills of Hua Khao Chamuk Phrong. A place revered by mariners.
