The Queens hotel is a landmark in Leeds. It is set in the heart of the city facing city square. Built in the 1930's in art deco style, it is impressively made from white Portland stone. At the beginning of the 20th century rooms in the hotel cost 4s [old money before decimalisation], breakfast was 3s and dinner was 5s.

Address: CITY SQUARE LEEDS 1
Directions: Built onto Leeds city station. The hotel once belonged to British rail.
