ahh Holland tunnel! this world famous tunnels underneath manhattan that connects new jersey into manhattan was made world famous due to Sylvester Stallone! (thanks to his movie, Daylight), well first of all, this tunnels at present has heavy security with many security cameras within the tunnel. The tunnel was designed by famous architect Clifford Milbiurn Holland and again it connects Jersey City (also the Newark international airport) in New Jersey to Canal Street in Manhattan (near the Tribeca) and is one of the many heavily guarded areas of new york with many security cameras around it. It is like a long pair of tubes, each providing two lanes in 20-foot wide and 12.5 feet height. The north tube is 8,558 feet , while the south tube 8,371 feet and To get to New Jersey, you don't have to pay any tolls, but there is a $8.00 toll when you return back to the City through the Holland Tunnel.
