Chinatown, Singapore: 32 reviews and 44 photos
Although the streets of Chinatown were crowded due to a national holiday, I found very nice the Chinatown Complex. I accessed from Banda St. after visiting the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. I wandered around finding local shops (mostly of women's fashion) and in one of the turns I found a small shop dedicated to children clothing where I found nice clothes for my childs. They have silk, satin dresses for the girls and some light clothing for the boys.
A mannequin with a traditional japanese black robe for samurais stands in the middle of the shop, and the girl in charge was really helpful and attentive.
What to buy: Silk, satin dresses for the girls and pajamas por the boys. Clothing style is a wide range from korean to japanese or chinese style.
What to pay: Around 20SGD per piece of children about 2-6 years old.
Address: New Bridge St.
Directions: 200m from Chinatown MRT Station, close to Buddha Tooth Relic Temple
Theme: Children's Clothes
