Taganga has its share of beachfront cafes and bars to enjoy a drink while watching the sunset but they are on the other side of the street and walkway so not quite as good as actually sitting on the beach. We did not stop in but I would imagine they are pricey as we did what most people seemed to be doing and that was buying our beers at the small shops along the beachfront that specialized in doing just that. You could get a wide variety of beverages and even "hard" alcohol. One Aguila beer and a ginger ale (D tummy not perfect yet!) was 4100 COP (a little over $2) was definitely more than we were paying in Santa Marta. At any rate, it was a cheap "night out" for us and the beach was not as crowded as it might have been though not as secluded as you might want it. The sunset was gorgeous, framed perfected by swaying palms.

Dress Code: Even in the evening it remained warm enough for t-shirts. Nice. :)

Directions: Walk towards the sunset and you will be on the beach.
