"Bear Lake County Courthouse" Paris Things to Do Tip by WulfstanTraveller

As the county seat, Paris is home to the county courthouse. This is an attractive, if simple, old building in the heart of the community on the main Hwy through town. However, it has suffered at the hands of "remodeling," with a plan, incongruous, and apparently cheaply made box-structure with inconsistent aluminum windows added between the two columns right over the front entrance. The interior has similarly been blighted with cheap "modern" ceiling panels and fake-wood wall veneer. It is an easy spot to visit when driving through town as it is right on the main highway in the centre of town.

Directions: Corner of Hwy 89/Main St and Center St. It is on the eastern side of the main north-south highway running through town, Hwy 89.
