The Vietnam War is something I grew up with in the 60s and 70s, and had strong views about then. I?ve been to Vietnam, so I?ve been exposed to their perspective on it.

It seemed strange to be there at the monument in DC, but right as well. Just another angle to the saga, and just as moving as any equivalent experience in Vietnam.

It was dedicated in 1983, and the names appear in the order in which they died.
