Located in Palazzo Borea d'Olmo with a separate entrance, il Caffè Ducale has an interior with a hint of its palatial past, with vaulted ceilings and chandeliers. It is part enoteca, part café and part restaurant. Its location in the heart of the shopping district of San Remo makes it an ideal stopping place at any point during the day. Although it serves full meals with a Ligurian touch, I only stopped here for coffee and gelato - both were perfectly delicious.
