Just down the Wilhelmstrasse from the Topographie des Terrors is the much less depressing Trabi Safari Park.

This looks like fun but wasn't something I had the time to do this trip - Ach, it was getting close to "beer time"! I was especially impressed by the beautifully redecorated Trabants lined-up parade-style (in a wonderfully Germanic fashion) with their windscreen wipers at full salute.

I do believe that in the Communist-era the owners of the cars would have removed the wipers every time they parked up as the wipers were worth almost as much as the car!

Website has the details and I think the "City Tour" card offers a decent discount.

Address: Zimmerstrasse 97
Directions: On the corner of Zimmmerstrasse and Wilhelmstrasse, heading towards Checkpoint Charlie.
