Ruins of the Abbey of St.Felix-de-Montceau. It is safe to say that the abbey probably already existed in the year 1104. It started out as a Benedictine abbey, crossed over to the Cistercians, then reverted to the Benedictine order in the 15th century. After it was pillaged several times by bands of mercenaries ('routiers'), the monks settled inside the walled town of Gigean and the site was abandoned.
