"Pub Scene" Tampere Favorite Tip by Airpunk

Favorite thing: Tampere is a student town and has developed a pub scene which can compete with those of far larger cities. That said, your choice to go out at night is very large if you like pub and bar – hopping. In the past years, Irish pubs or at least English-themed pubs have become very popular. In four days, I have found more of them than there are in my current home town of Hamburg (which is seven times larger than Tampere). The most popular seems to be O’Connell’s which despite its strange location (between the central station, the Russian church and a sex shop) and its shabby appearance is a favourite among locals. Unfortunately, it was close when I wanted to visit it. But as I said – as one pub is closed, there’s surely another option close by.
