Cottage on Lakelse Lake: "As fresh as can be!" Terrace Restaurant Tip by Bwana_Brown

Sue and I were treated royally by my brother and his wife at their cottage – it was so much fun just to connect again after too many years apart, especially with the sun shining, a lakeside view and the wonderful meals they prepared for us. This view shows our first evening at the lake as we enjoyed home-cooked dishes of Pacific Salmon, corn on the cob, roasted potatoes and carrots with a beet root or two thrown in as well. A glass of red wine helped to wash things down as we sat talking and enjoying the lake view from their deck (2nd photo). We were also treated to amazing meals featuring fresh Trout they had caught in the lake as well as some of the best breakfast fruit medley’s with yoghurt and granola we have ever eaten!

Favorite Dish: Capping it off, the 3rd photo says it all as my brother prepared the best tart margaritas we have ever come across. Sitting there was simply relaxation personified! After being pampered like that, we decided we had better do whatever we could to return the favour on our second full day in the area.
