Bankside Gallery is an independent gallery belonging to the Royal Watercolour Society and the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers. Most of the gallery's work is usually available for sale although expensive. Members of the Royal Watercolour Society and Royal Society of Painter-Printworks exhibits paintings and prints during the year. There are also independent artists who exhibit there such as Hilary Paynter, a wood-engraver, who recently launched her books, 'Wood Engravings' along with her work (October 2010).

The admission is free although you can make a donation.
