"Great location, terrible staff" Residence Bologna Tip by muratkorman

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel. The location is great : 7 min walk to Charles Bridge. The rooms are large and comfortable. The breakfast served is good enough : cheese, ham, some pastries, yoghurt,bread, butter, jam, tea, coffee,milk, orange and apple juice. My big disappointment was the staff. The hotel is dominated by Italian guests and Italian staff. They don't really care too much about guest requests and complaints. TV channels were very few and for some reason they were only Italian. I talked with the reception about that and they said a technician will come to fix the problem. Nobody came, nothing happened. The staff was not even smiling when talking to us. There is a Tesco supermarket in 5 minutes walk to the hotel. You can do your food and drink shopping from there. For the price and location, it is great but if you search for excellent staff, stay away from this hotel.
