"Train travel from Zermatt to Jungfrau" Switzerland Transportation Tip by DEY

Switzerland Transportation: 241 reviews and 254 photos

It is only a couple of hours from Zermatt to Interlaken although you will have to change trains in Visp and Spiez. Then from Interlaken you will go to Lauterbrunnen to to get to Kleine Scheidegg. The final train is from there up to Jungfraujoch. It is well worth the trip!

Stop for a break at Kleine Scheidegg and some wonderful Roesti! The views are spectacular!

As previously mentioned, the Swiss Rail website will verify all the times. If you go straight from Zermatt to Jungfrau without any breaks, it is approximately a 5 hour trip. There are several trains throughout the day.
