Las Bóvedas are a series of sea walls that protect the Plaza de Francia and the tip of the Casco Antiguo from the Pacific Ocean. They are primarily from the 18th Century, and a fairly large, as I imagine that storms and earthquakes can cause fairly high waves to beat the shore along the Casco Antiguo. Today, the Bóvedas provide a sort of elevated walkway from which you get great view of the extension of the city towards the Causeway and out to the Pacific Ocean. They?re an ideal place to get some of the best pictures of your stay in the city.

Address: Plaza de Francia
Directions: On the very edge of the Casco Antiguo
