"Old Faithful Area More Tourist-y" Old Faithful Snow Lodge and Cabins Tip by rebeccandavid

Old Faithful Snow Lodge and Cabins, Yellowstone National Park: 1,294 reviews and 11 photos

We stayed in the Snow Lodge (not cabins) for 3 nights at the end of our weeklong trip. My father, who is more of a tourist by nature liked this much better than our cabins at Canyon Lodge. The rest of us preferred the cabins. This lodge is in the middle of the tourist-ridden Old Faithful Village, so there were people ever-y-where. So if you are someone who mainly stays in nicer hotels with lots of amenities in tourist hot-spots, this is probably the closest you will get inside the park.

Beware: the Geyser Grill is awful.
