Paris Off The Beaten Path: 1,968 reviews and 4,171 photos
This building, of Renaissance design is mainly well known for it's famous "Jewish courtyard", used in quite a few films, notably a film from 2010 "La Rafle" or "The Round-Up", where the Jews of Paris are rounded up in 1943 and held in the famous "Vel d'Hiv" an indoor cycling track before being taken to camps outside Paris and then deported to the extermination camps. There is now a digipad and grilled gate guarding the entrance but you can still get this view of the double staircase.
Abbesses is the nearest metro.
