Brauhaus Johann Albrecht: "Microbrewery and Local "Brewers'" Food" Top 5 Page for this destination Konstanz Restaurant Tip by Kathrin_E

Brauhaus Johann Albrecht is a microbrewery that serves their own beer specialities. The varieties change with the seasons, so check what they are having. The summer beer I tried was excellent.
Brewery equipment is installed in the middle of the restaurant hall. I cannot tell if they actually do the brewing there now and then for the guests to watch but I assume they do. The big shining copper kettles add a lot to the atmosphere.
The food is rich and hearty, great for meat lovers but little choice for vegetarians or people who are on a diet. Many dishes are named "Brewers'" whatever and beer is used, for example, to prepare sauces. Check for special offers. I visited during Schnitzel week when several varieties of Schnitzel were offered at discount price.
