The climb to the summit of Mount Cooroora is not to be taken lightly.

A read of the notice board at the start of the track gives you an idea of how rough the climb is, especially when it states "serious injury or death could result in leaving the track!"

Please take heed of the warning, as it is the truth. The track is extremely steep, rough, has loose stones and rocks, sometimes you clamber over sheer rockface with nothing to hang onto. One slip, and a fall may result in a long tumble down the Mountain and broken bones.
Do not climb if you have a heart condition.

Just be careful, take your time, and enjoy the fantastic views along the way to the summit!
