" To Tel Aviv from Jerusalem by bus" Top 5 Page for this destination Israel Transportation Tip by Kuznetsov_Sergey

Israel Transportation: 136 reviews and 133 photos

We started our way from the bus-station near the Dung Gate. Then – the Southern Wall and the Mount Zion along Ma’Ale Hashalom), the Western Wall along Hativat Yerushalayim, along the HaTsantanim Tunnel along the Yigael Yadin, which is #1 National Road to Tel Aviv (5,5 km and 15 min driving time). After 15 km driving (15 min driving time) we made a short stop at Neve Ilan.
After 50 km driving (40 minutes) we reached Tel Aviv where changed a bus which drove us to our hotels. Total distance about 70 km and total driving time about 1 hour and 10 minutes, excluding 20 minutes for a stop at Neve Ilan.

Israel has an excellent road network and, because the country is relatively small with varied scenery, traveling by car can be a great pleasure.
Road signs are international, distances given are in kilometers and all signposting on major roads is in Hebrew, Arabic and English. The speed limit is 100kph on motorways, 80kph on intercity roads and 50kph within towns.
