"Tregole National Park" Morven Things to Do Tip by cafank
Morven Things to Do: 2 reviews and 5 photos
The 700ha Tregole National Park was formerly a grazing property. It has a very diverse and fragile ecosystem and has become a favourite spot to visit for locals and visitors.
There is a nice picnic area there are several designated short walks.
A written walking track guide is available from either the Charleville Visitor Information Centre or the Morven Post Office.
Of special interest is the small, almost pure stand of ooline Cadellia pentastylis, an attractive dry rainforest tree dating back to the Ice Ages.
Camping is not allowed.
