Along a small street the fronts and windows of some pre-war shops have been preserved. These give an idea what the streets of Kasimierz once looked like. The shop windows are decorated the way they used to be.
The four shops were:
# Chajim Kohan's general store
# Workshop of Szymon Kac's, the tailor
# Benjamin Holcer's joinery and carpentry workshop
# Stanislaw Nowak's grocery store

However, the shops behind these windows do not exist any more. The entire ground floor of the building is occupied by a Jewish restaurant (the only one in Krakow that has been classified as kosher). Tools and products of the craftsmen serve as decoration.

Location: Northern end of Szeroka, opposite the old Jewish cemetery

Address: To the south-east of the historical centre
