The Handmade Burger Co: "upmarket fast food" Birmingham Restaurant Tip by henry14

A chain but this place is definitely worth a visit. On the canalside of Brindley Place the location is great for people watching and close to main attractions. On the night we visited it was really warm so we chose to sit inside cooled by the aircon but there are tables outside if you prefer.

The burger menu is extensive, including some good vegetarian options with sides including home cooked chips and colslaw. Our choice of field mushrooms with mozzerella and pesto (vegetarian) and a cheese burger went down well - huge portions made with top quality ingredients. The chips were also great, crispy and chunky!

It was busy when we visited but service was efficient and the staff are very friendly. Fellow diners were a mixed bunch from families, couples, older and younger so obviously something for everyone.
