The Engine Shed: "Terrific concept" The Engine Shed Tip by socheid

The Engine Shed, Edinburgh: 1 reviews and 0 photos

This eatery offers people with learning disabilities a training provision that would successfully address key areas towards helping them make the successful transition into the world of paid work. Set in what was once the engine shed of the Innocent Railway (so called because no-one ever died working for it) near Arthur's Seat, this fabulous venue is part of the wide-reaching Garvald training programme for adults with learning difficulties. Garvald includes an outside catering arm and a bakery that supplies both its own Bruntsfield shop and other shops. The café has space for artwork to be displayed and is child & family friendly.
