"Historic US 80 Route" La Mesa Transportation Tip by Yaqui

Historic Route US 80 was commissioned in 1926 and it originally began from San Diego California to Tybee Island, Georgia. It was decommissioned in California in 1964 when Interstate 80 was officially commissioned that begins up in San Francisco and ends in New York. Most of the old US 80 still exists, but the signs were removed, so not sure how these sections have been relabeled. Yet, there is a group of people who are going to keep it in the history book of travel.
