Centrally located: "Abidis" Santarém Hotel Tip by solopes

I never slept there, I did never enter it, so why do I mention this hostel?

Because, knowing Santarém for more than 50 years, Abidis was, since 1942, THE suggested hotel by my friends, every time that I "almost" slept in the city. More than a place to stay it was a kind of cultural reference. Today, Santarém has several hotels for all kind of prices, but... Abidis is always the first name in my mind.

It seems to keep working, but I got no references at all about it, good or bad.

I will ask my friends, next time in Santarém.
