The blue Music-pavillon

was built at the place, where the Zig-Zag-path starts and it has the year 1789 and 1989 written on it, because it was built for the 200 year anniversary of the town of Hammerfest. It is a small pavillon, obviously ment as a safe place for the musicians performing their music in the sometimes lousy nordic weather-conditions. I really enjoyed these polar-bear decorations very much, Polarbears always look great in a zoo and in real nature, as long as they are in a big distance. The polarbear is also shown in the coat of arms of Hammerfest.

Directions: The blue Music-pavillon is about 200 meters from the port of the large ships, on the shortest way to the hill.
