"Bookshops" Prague Off The Beaten Path Tip by anglosaxon

Prague Off The Beaten Path: 750 reviews and 1,079 photos

Bookshops (English Language) - I go to three or four in Prague but, three in the centre are:Anagram
(Mala Stupartska) in the courtyard leading to Tyn Church (Tynsky Dvur). Anagram does both new and used books and if ex-pats are leaving it will take your old used books and give you a credit if you want to buy a couple of new books.
Big Ben bookshop
is just around the corner in Mala Stupartska. New books and paperbacks only. Has good travel/language and children sections (English translation of Czech Stories). Globe
is no longer in Janovskeho (it is now Pstrossova 6) has new and used books, mostly paperbacks and fiction. Has Czech Language section if you want. Has a cafe at the rear of the building with a good selection of snacks. There are also two multi-storey book shops in Wenceslas Square and the Palac Knih has the biggest English Language section.
