Hope is a small town on the edge of the mighty Fraser River.

It is known as the CHAINSAW CARVING CAPITAL

We drove around the town, stopping, and looking at most, I believe there are 30 now, and the number is continually growing!
The artist is very clever, and has done an excellent job on these wooden sculptures!
Hope holds chainsaw wood carving competitions and exhibitions. Chainsaw wood carvings are displayed and exhibited in Hope, with the Memorial Park having a good display of chainsaw wood carvings.

The Hope Arts Gallery exhibits and sells art by local artists, and it is here where you pick up the "ART WALK," a self guided tour to art and chainsaw wood carvings in Hope.

Carvings I saw were of local wildlife, including eagles, bears, mountain sheep and cougars, Miners, Dogs & others.............

Address: Highway 1.....Hope
