Cenote snorkling south of Playa del Carmen
Cenotes are freshwater sinkholes, so when snorkling you get the fun of snorkling and no sticky salt residue! The fish are not nearly as big or colorful though. The last cenote they took us to, you could jump off the clif into it. My husband says it was about a 35 foot drop but because of the crystal clear water, you could see to the bottom and it looked like about 75 feet!
Some of the cenotes offer cave scuba diving too.

Address: South of Playa del Carmen
