Bellevue Bistro: "Nice, but not outstanding" Bellevue Restaurant Tip by Xamayka

A friend and I had an early lunch on a Friday. I was going to have a 1/2 sandwich & cup of Tomato Basil soup. Unfortunately, not all sandwiches are available in this combo ... so I settled for just the sandwich ... the Bavarian Reuben ($7.95), which was served with pickle slices and wavy potato chips. The ingredients were fresh, the corned beef lean, but the sandwich was very bland. No nuttiness to the Swiss cheese, no pucker to the sauerkraut, no zing to the Thousand Island Dressing. My companion had the Veggie Burger ($6.95), and had the same comment ... it was bland. My lemonade was tasty as was the raspberry iced tea, but refills weren't offered. Service was prompt and friendly.
