The Roman Garden is a wonderful oasis not far from the City Centre. Here you'll find Roman remains which have been excavated elsewhere in the City. It was laid out in 1949 and includes columns and pillars, a mosaic, legionary baths and a reconstruction of a hypocaust. This would be a great place to sit and relax away from the madding crowd.
