Walk to St. Martin through the vineyards :-)

St. Martin is located in the middle part of Palatinate, approx. 30 km west of Speyer, 60 km west of Heidelberg and 130 km southwest of Frankfurt. And, in case Mark (@Travelfrosch) finds this: 47 km southeast of KL. Unfortunately it does not have an own train station, but can easily be reached by bus from nearby Maikammer (station Maikammer-Kirrweiler). IC/EC trains stop in nearby Neustadt (an der Weinstraße).
From the Maikammer-Kirrweiler train stations there are regular busses: the so-called PalatinaBus stops in St. Martin.

I can’t say anything about parking possibilities, since I came walking from Maikammer. But I am sure that it is useless to look for a parking place inside of the town. The spare lots should be reserved for residents. But according to google maps there might be bigger parking space north of the town, along Totenkopf-Straße (yes, translates into skull road), which is the one leading up to Palatinate’s highest hill Kalmit.

More information here, albeit in German:
