Well so often I had seen the signs but could not quite picture where these beautiful botanical gardens were actually hiding. But now I know...and they are worth getting lost to find.

Just take the Sippy Downs, Buderim exit off the Bruce Highway. Take the Tanawha Tourist Drive turnoff (25) and simply follow the signs! The actual road is Palm Creek Road just near the Golf Course.But it is a little tricky.

There are palm trees, bush walks, ferns , bird life, and a lagoon and a bit more of a find are the sculptures ...do a bit of work walking up hill for this nook.

You can take a picnic with you but you must take your rubbish away...though there are toilets!

The gardens are open from 7.00 am to 5.00 pm (April to October) and 7.00am to 6.00pm (November to March)

And you can arrange your wedding there as well.
