Paci's Pizza: "Hand-Tossed Pizza" Tampa Restaurant Tip by Lhenne1

Ever have a sliced meatball on your pizza? No? Then you haven’t truly lived.

Paci’s pizzas are massive (it said 18 inches on the menu; I think it was more like 24) and fantastic. The thin crust is hand-tossed in the shop and the topping list (like sliced meatballs) is great. The green bell peppers are big slices, not little dices and the mushrooms are generously heaped on top.

The only complaint I have is that they don’t have delivery, just take out. But being located on S. Dale Mabry make sit easy to get to from many parts of South Tampa, so it’s not awful to make the trip out.

While we didn’t have a problem ordering a pizza early on a Saturday night, we’ve been warned by friends that Paci’s is so popular you may find yourself waiting quite a while for your pie if you try to order later on a weekend night. Plan ahead.

Favorite Dish: Try Paci's Special Pie. It has meatballs, sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, onions and mozzarella cheese.
