The whale watch cruise we took was unforgettable. We didn't see a lot of whales, but we DID see them and it was an incredible experience. We saw three different species on our 3 1/2 hour cruise: minke whales, finback whales, and a humpback whale. This photo shows a finback whale surfacing; they are the second largest creature on Earth and what you see is just 1/3 of the total length of the whale.

Directions: We went with Dolphin Fleet, out of Provincetown. A naturalist from the Center for Coastal Studies tells you all about the whales, the habitat, and the group's research efforts. They are conducting res
