Woorim Beach is on the side of the Island known as the "surf side." Woorim Beach is 30 km long and stretches from Skirmish Point to the northern tip near Caloundra. It has white-sand beaches, and a safe swimming area patrolled by the Bribie Island Surf Living Saving Club.
Woorim Beach is the closest surf Beach to Brisbane and is situated on the Eastern side of Bribie Island.
As the Island is protected by Moreton Island, the surf at Woorim Beach is popular for families.
About 3,000 people call Woorim home.
There is a caravan park, and it is also the access point for people wishing to take advantage of the ‘on the beach’ camping facilities.
This area has had a face lift in recent years. Now there are Cafes, coffee shops, surf shops and more.
Showers and Toilets are located in a lawned area next to the beach. These are fairly new.
