"Daintree National Forest" Australia Things to Do Tip by Goner

The Daintree National Forest is an hours drive north of Cairns. The drive took us by some extraodinary beaches that were unoccupied (due to the box jellyfish time of the year). Daintree is primarily a rainforest with lush vegetation. After parking you take a walk on a boardwalk through the trees and above any crocs hiding in the mirky waters. The trees are hanging with vines and moss and the air is thick and exotic...great place to spend the day.
Address: North of Cairns
