With a name like Thai MArket and Kitchen, maybe we should have known this wasn't a traditional restaurant. We stopped in one Sunday when little else in the area was open. Right in front of the door was a small warm case with a few varieties of Asian food such as drunken noodles, pad thai, and pot stickers. On this day the kitchen was closed and these pre-made foods were our only options. We decided on the warm drunken noodles and the cold pot stickers, plenty of food for two people to share. But it was made hours earlier, so not at its best. At least they gave us a nice discount, half off the gyoza and $3 off the noodles.
The order of six gyoza (pot stickers) for $3, was a tasty, pan-fried pasty stuffed with pork and vegetables, and served with gyoza sauce. They were leftover, probably fried hours earlier, so were soft and chewy, rather than crispy, hot and fresh.
The slightly spicy drunken noodles (Pad Kee Mao) was $5.95. Even as a leftover, this was a delicious dish, with lots of fresh veggies, mounds of thick noodles, and a good serving of chicken.
This little Asian market is certainly more of a food store than restaurant, but they do have a kitchen open five days a week for take out orders. They also have about six tables inside and six more outside if you want to eat there.
