"The Dog Man" Top 5 Page for this destination Monuments and Statues Tip by Maryimelda

Monuments and Statues, Brisbane: 5 reviews and 10 photos

I love this welded stainless steel sculpture by Cezary Stulgis. Sadly, it stands on a corner of the city which is a little out of the way but not if you are going to St John's Anglican Cathedral. You will find him on the corner of Wharf Street and Ann Street and he is really quite a handsome bloke. He was commissioned in 2008 and depicts a contemporary, mythological, good-natured dog man that restores balance on the planet. The tree in his back pack is a link to our fragile climate.

Address: Cnrf. Wharf and Ann Streets, Brisbane
Directions: A block and a half past the Ann Street side of Anzac Square, just a little before you get to St John's Anglican Cathedral.

Review Helpfulness: 3.5 out of 5 stars
