Mt Cootha, Brisbane: 16 reviews and 23 photos
Sorry, no photo's of these waterfalls as every time I visit, there isn't any water going over!
Perhaps it would be best to visit directly after rain, I shall have to try that myself.
Even though it was disappointing that once again, I did not see the falls with water, the area they are located in is nice. It is very popular too for large picnic parties on good fine weather days!
The walk to the falls is only about 730 metres, so not a real long walk. There is also a walk to the summit of Mt. Coot-tha that departs from here.
There are Toilets and a very nice shelter shed and wood bbq area at the start of the walk. You can drive your car up this far, then park, but there are not many parking spaces.
Directions: Located off Sir Samuel Griffith Drive at Mt. Coot tha.
