I'm not a big fan of churches - my views on religion get in the way - but this is up there with the Blue Mosque or the top temples in Bangkok. More impressive than St Peter's in Rome or Notre Dame in Paris.

Its completion dates back to 1577. It is ornate and spectacular. It holds 2 Caravaggios - the Beheading of John the Baptist is huge and beautiful. St Jerome is the other.

Don't miss this place. €6 to get in. Pick your best time to avoid the crowds & tour groups.
