The Illawara fly walk is a large metal walk way in the tree tops overlooking the Illawara escarpment. A nice day trip, it has fantastic veiws and is an interesting engineering feat, but is it worth the $22 entrance fee I am not so sure it only take about 1/2 hour to get around it.

The restaruant at the entrance is a bit expensive, a better idea is the Robertson pie shop just to the north which has a fantastic range of savoury and sweet treats. The drive up the escarpment is very windy and picturesque.

Address: 182 Knights Hill Rd, Knights Hill NSW 2577
Directions: Follow the signs from Wollongong over the macquarie pass or through Jamberoo from the south.
